Domestic Shipping Options

  • SA Post Office (Counter to Counter):    One of the most important aspects of buying online is the secure delivery of your purchases. We at Magnum Archery understand this all too well. It is for this reason why we have entered into partnerships with the best in the business.
  • We strive to give you the fastest service possible.
  • Normally, orders received before noon will be shipped by noon the next day, after payment clearance has been received.
  • Special arrow or string orders might delay shipping slightly. We will either ship with Speed Services via the Post Office or Courier of your choice. Please specify what will be most convenient for you. If the parcel was sent via speed services, then the parcel will have to be collected at your closest post office unless arrangements have been made for door-to-door delivery.
  • Items that are not claimed by the buyer from the Post Office will be returned to us and postage for re-shipment will be the liability for that of the buyer. Postage is the responsibility of the buyer unless stated otherwise.
  • All parcels will be insured (cost of 1.5% of value) and is for the cost of the buyer. The buyer should not accept damaged parcels until the transportation company agent has noted the damage on the waybill. Please DO NOT RETURN THE DAMAGED GOODS TO US.
  • Magnum Archery cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to goods via Post office or Courier Company. As mentioned before, we will automatically insure the shipment to reduce the financial risk of damage or loss of the shipment. If however you prefer to accept the risk of damage or loss of the parcel during shipment, you can exercise the option not to insure by letting us know in writing. In the case of the loss of the shipment you will however be liable to pay Magnum Archery for the shipment not received since it was sent as per your instruction. Magnum Archery's responsibilities end once the parcel has been sent or collected by the courier company. No shipping will be done if account is overdue or previous invoice is not paid in full.
  • In the case of Speed Services, the typical order will be delivered the next day or two if payment has been received before 10:00 the previous day and if credit card approval is obtained from the bank and no arrows needs to be fletched or any special work needs to be done for you.
  • The Post Office parcel post usually takes 5 to 7 days for delivery in South Africa. You will be informed on the day of shipment and receive the tracking number of you parcel.
  • Courier Delivery: your package will be sent using a domestic courier service. Delivery is usually next day in main centers and within 3 days anywhere in the country. Our preferred couriers are Time Freight, Berco and Fastway. Should you wish to arrange your own courier, we will be happy to complete the needed documentation. Please make sure to supply us the correct physical delivery address, not postal address.
  • Pretoria & Johannesburg ONLY Delivery: In an effort to reduce shipping costs for you (our valued customer), we offer a discounted courier delivery charge for Johannesburg and Pretoria. This is a next day service, which means that if your parcel is ready and dispatched today, it will be delivered tomorrow.

International Shipping Options

  • SA Post Office (Airmail): your package will be dispatched by SA Post Office to your international destination using Airmail. Delivery in 10 to 20 days, depending on your local postal service.

Important

  • We will not dispatch any products or materials deemed hazardous or illegal.
  • We can only send to countries allowed by SA Post Office.
  • You will be responsible for any additional fees and taxes in your own country.
  • Some items may incur an oversize charge. You will be responsible for any oversize charges.
  • No order will be sent until all funds has been cleared by the bank.

Christmas Season Deliveries

  • It’s important to order your goods as early as possible in order to avoid disappointment during this mad rush period. We will endeavor to deliver your products before Christmas, but there are a lot of factors outside of our control that influence successful delivery.
  • The following guide should be followed:
  • In stock items dispatched on the 21st of December should be delivered on or before the 24th of December.
  • Any order after these dates will not make delivery in time.
  • Items on backorder should be ordered on or before the 10th of December in order for us to attempt to deliver before December 25th. We cannot guarantee that our suppliers have stock available, so delivery is not guaranteed.

Unfortunately strike actions by courier drivers and postal services workers will delay all orders, and Magnum Archery cannot be held liable for any loss or damage caused by this.
